The Pre-licensing class can be taken either in a classroom or via virtual/distance learning. If you choose the classroom option, you will receive a MV-278 Certificate of Completion. No matter which version you decide to enroll in all courses follow the same curriculum content. When you have successfully completed your course, the instructor will report your completion to the DMV automatically, and you don't need to show a certificate when appearing for your driver's exam.
